Longhorn Solar will be hosting the National Solar Tour in the Austin area over 2 weekends in October. October 6 will feature homes in Cedar Park and Round Rock. October 13 will feature homes in Northeast Austin and Southwest Austin.
A diverse mix of rooftop solar installations will be showcased, featuring 20 homes in 4 communities around Austin. If you’re considering solar panels for your home or business, this is a great opportunity to see solar in action, as well as get all your questions answered by a team of trained solar professionals in a relaxed setting. The tour brings together solar supporters, home and business owners, and the community at large to celebrate (and get educated about) the growth and advantages of solar power for homes.
Longhorn Solar will have staff at all locations to answer questions and demo the systems, and you can visit as many or few of the homes as you wish. Each installation has its own unique characteristics, and represents a wide array of solar panel and inverter manufacturers and architectures. You can visit homes with string inverters, microinverters and DC optimized hybrid systems by SolarEdge. There will be silver frame modules, black on white modules and all black modules…a little bit of everything.
